Last updated: [11th October 2026]

1. Introduction

Welcome to Slabrio.

Slabrio is an online technology platform that connects collectors with independent retailers offering trading card grading submission services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Slabrio website, web application, mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

The Platform is operated by Slabrio Pty Ltd (ABN 35 697 146 786), trading as Slabrio ("Slabrio", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, accessing the Platform or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms and any applicable policies incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Policy details

2.1 Definitions

Customer: An individual or business using the Platform to access grading submission services.

Retailer: An independent business authorised to offer grading submission services through Slabrio.

Grading Company: A third-party authentication or grading organisation, including PSA and other supported grading providers.

Submission: An order created through the Platform for one or more trading cards to be submitted for grading.

Declared Value: The value assigned to a card for grading tier selection, insurance or other applicable purposes.

Platform Services: The software functionality provided by Slabrio, including account management, submission creation, payment facilitation, tracking and communication tools.

Retailer Services: The physical and administrative services performed by a Retailer in connection with a Submission.

2.2 Slabrio's Role

Slabrio operates as a technology marketplace.

The Platform enables Customers to:

  • Locate and select participating Retailers.

  • Create and manage grading Submissions.

  • Select available grading tiers.

  • Make payments for Retailer Services.

  • Track submission progress.

  • Receive notifications and grading results.

  • Manage digital card records and portfolios.

  • Access optional card identification and valuation tools.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Slabrio does not physically receive, inspect, store, package, ship, grade or authenticate cards.

Retailer Services are supplied by the Retailer selected by the Customer. The service contract for those Retailer Services is between the Customer and that Retailer.

Slabrio provides Platform Services under a separate agreement between Slabrio and the Customer.

Slabrio may assist with communications, payments, dispute resolution and submission administration without becoming the supplier of the Retailer Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any obligation or liability imposed on Slabrio by applicable law.

2.3 Account Registration

Customers must provide accurate and current information when registering.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate contact and delivery information.

  • Keeping login credentials secure.

  • Activities conducted through your account.

  • Promptly notifying Slabrio of suspected unauthorised access.

You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent accounts or use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

Slabrio may request reasonable identity verification where required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

2.4 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into transactions independently through the Platform.

Users under 18 may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, subject to any additional age restrictions imposed by Slabrio.

Slabrio may restrict access where eligibility requirements are not satisfied.

2.5 Retailer Selection

Customers may select an available Retailer when creating a Submission.

Each Retailer independently determines its:

  • Available grading services and tiers.

  • Customer-facing service prices.

  • Drop-off and shipping arrangements.

  • Operating hours.

  • Handling and administration procedures.

  • Return delivery options.

  • Additional service conditions, where permitted.

Retailers must clearly disclose material service conditions before purchase.

Selecting a Retailer establishes the relevant service relationship between the Customer and that Retailer.

2.6 Grading Submissions

Customers are responsible for reviewing all Submission information before confirming an order.

This includes card descriptions, quantities, grading tiers, Declared Values, delivery details and selected services.

The Customer authorises the selected Retailer to handle and submit the listed cards to the relevant Grading Company in accordance with the agreed services.

Once cards have been received or processing has commenced, changes may be restricted by the Retailer or Grading Company.

Additional terms are set out in the Grading Submission Terms & Conditions.

2.7 Pricing and Payments

Retailers establish the prices charged to Customers for Retailer Services.

Payments may be facilitated through Stripe Connect or other approved payment providers.

The total amount payable, including applicable taxes, shipping, insurance and disclosed additional fees, will be presented before payment confirmation.

Slabrio may charge Retailers platform fees under separate commercial arrangements.

Unless expressly disclosed, Slabrio's fees to Retailers are not additional charges payable separately by Customers.

Customers may be required to pay grading upcharges where permitted by the applicable Grading Company and disclosed service terms.

2.8 Submission Tracking

Slabrio provides submission tracking based on information entered by Retailers, received from Grading Companies or obtained through supported integrations.

Tracking information is provided for convenience and may not reflect real-time physical movement or processing.

Status updates may be delayed, incomplete or subject to correction.

Estimated completion dates are indicative unless expressly guaranteed by the relevant service provider.

2.9 Third-Party Grading Services

Grading decisions are made independently by the relevant Grading Company.

Slabrio does not control:

  • Final grades.

  • Authentication outcomes.

  • Grading standards.

  • Processing times.

  • Grading company pricing adjustments.

  • Rejection or non-grading decisions.

  • Third-party service interruptions.

A grade, authentication result or completion timeframe is not guaranteed merely because a Submission is created through Slabrio.

Any rights or remedies arising from a failure to provide services with due care and skill remain unaffected.

2.10 Slabrio Intelligence and Valuation Tools

Slabrio may offer automated card identification, estimated market valuations, grading tier recommendations and predictive grading tools.

These tools are informational only.

Estimated prices may be based on third-party market data and may differ from actual sale prices.

Automated card identification may be inaccurate. Customers must verify information before using it in a Submission.

Estimated grades are not guarantees of grading outcomes.

Slabrio does not provide financial, investment or professional valuation advice through these tools.

2.11 Digital Card Portfolio

The Platform may allow Customers to maintain digital records of cards, including images, grades, certification numbers and estimated market values.

These records are informational and do not constitute proof of legal ownership, physical possession, authenticity or insurance coverage.

Customers remain responsible for maintaining independent records where required.

2.12 Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate Submission information.

  • Submit only cards they own or are authorised to submit.

  • Follow applicable packaging and delivery instructions.

  • Pay properly disclosed charges when due.

  • Respond to reasonable requests for information.

  • Comply with applicable laws and Platform policies.

Customers must not submit stolen, unlawfully obtained or prohibited property.

2.13 Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, branding, design, text and proprietary technology, is owned by Slabrio or its licensors.

Customers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purposes.

Customers retain ownership of card photographs and other original content they upload, to the extent they own those rights.

By uploading content, Customers grant Slabrio a non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce, process and display that content as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform Services.

This licence does not transfer ownership of physical cards or uploaded content to Slabrio.

2.14 Platform Availability

Slabrio aims to provide a reliable Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Maintenance, technical faults, integrations, network interruptions or events beyond reasonable control may affect availability.

Slabrio will take reasonable steps to address material service interruptions.

2.15 Suspension and Termination

Slabrio may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, serious policy violations or unlawful activity.

Where practicable and appropriate, Slabrio will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.

Account closure does not automatically cancel existing grading Submissions or extinguish outstanding legal obligations.

Customers with active Submissions will be provided with a reasonable method of obtaining essential submission information.

2.16 Liability and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Slabrio is responsible for its own obligations as the Platform provider.

Retailers are responsible for their own obligations as suppliers of Retailer Services.

To the extent permitted by law, Slabrio is not responsible for losses caused solely by independent Retailer or Grading Company conduct outside Slabrio's control.

This does not exclude liability arising from Slabrio's own conduct, negligence, statutory obligations or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2.17 Complaints and Disputes

Customers should initially contact the selected Retailer regarding physical card handling, grading Submissions, delivery or Retailer Service concerns.

Platform-related complaints may be submitted directly to Slabrio.

Slabrio may assist in facilitating communication between Customers and Retailers.

Customers retain all applicable rights to seek remedies through payment providers, consumer protection agencies or courts.

2.18 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to a Customer.

3. Changes to this policy

Slabrio may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in applicable laws, Platform functionality, business operations or the services offered through the Platform.

The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Where changes materially affect Customers' rights or obligations, Slabrio will provide reasonable notice through the Platform, email or other appropriate communication channels.

Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter existing transactions without a lawful basis.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance where legally permitted. Where required, Slabrio will request express acceptance of revised Terms.
